Ayo & The Current are a Lagos and London band: vocals, horns, guitar, bass, and drums. They play weddings, brand events, and clubs that want a live rhythm section rather than a playlist.
technical setup
Stage at least 5m by 4m. House PA capable of the room, four vocal or horn mics, bass DI, guitar amp mic, and a five-piece drum mic set. Two monitors minimum. Soundcheck 50 minutes. They travel with horns and percussion; drums and amps should be local. Outdoor shows need a covered stage and a wind plan for horns.
