Casa Norte are a Barcelona quartet: trumpet, piano, bass, and percussion. They keep volume conversational for dinners and open it up for a second set. Spanish and English speaking on the gig.
technical setup
Piano or a good keyboard with a weighted action. Bass amp if the room is large, otherwise DI. Two mics for trumpet and percussion. 3m by 2m playing area. Soundcheck 25 minutes. They are acoustic-first and do not need a loud PA under 100 seats. Outdoor wind above a light breeze needs a screen for music stands.
