Desert Radio are a three-piece from Austin. Guitars, bass, and drums, with songs that work on a patio or a loud club. They are used to fast changeovers and shared backline.
technical setup
Shared backline is accepted if the amp list is sent 7 days ahead. Three vocal mics, guitar and bass mics or DIs, standard drum mics. Stage 4m by 3m. Soundcheck 30 minutes, or a line-check if changeover is under 15 minutes. Two monitor mixes. Outdoor sun on the stage after 4pm needs shade for the drummer.
